In this role, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all communication is accurate, efficient, and culturally sensitive. You will translate contracts, technical documents, and project reports, as well as facilitate meetings and discussions between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking team members.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Translate contracts, technical documents, and project reports from Mandarin to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Facilitate meetings and discussions between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking team members, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure all communication is accurate and timely.
• Review and edit translations to maintain consistency and quality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry-specific terminology and best practices in construction.
• Work collaboratively with the project team to support the successful execution of construction projects.
• Assist in the preparation of technical presentations and reports for stakeholders.
• Provide translation services for marketing and promotional materials related to construction projects.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with a strong command of both languages.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in translation, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in using translation software such as Trados, MemoQ, or SDL Trados.
• Strong understanding of construction terminology and industry-specific language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
